Description
Rosa and Margarita: two sisters, twins, in “discrete” years. The inseparable duo, which should never have broken, inadvertently becomes a thousand pieces, before the girls even manage to realize their existence, since their memories are not recorded in the mind but only in the soul. Two daughters, the result of a great love that blossomed by the sea, killed on the mountain, tested in time and finally took root on the other side of the Earth. Two souls who, despite adversity, manage not only to survive, but to flourish and evolve, to love and fall in love, to suffer and betray, to hope and dream. Lives parallel and so different at the same time, the two sides in the essence of the same coin, as what marks the life of one is embodied in some inexplicable, metaphysical way, almost simultaneously, by the other. At the core of their existence: the mother, the queen, Greece. In the depths of their soul that: love, lust, death. In the background of their lives three countries: Greece, Romania, America, and all those that mark them in the second half of the twentieth century.
A story about the strength of blood ties, the thirst for survival, the timelessness of love, the need for “homeland”.
